A Taste of Nordic Walking
Thursday, April 27, 1:00 - 2:00 p.m.
Come try the newest fitness craze! The simple addition of poles turns every step into a total body workout. It helps with stability and balance, creating confidence for daily walking. The benefits are impressive and it is tons of fun.

Foot Care Clinic1st and 3rd Wednesdays 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
The Senior Program, in cooperation with Presbyterian Homes of Minnesota, sponsors a monthly Foot Care Clinic. Clients will have their nails trimmed, calluses pumiced and feet massaged. Appointments can be made for the first and third Wednesday of each month between 10:00 a.m. and 2:00 p.m. at the Fridley Community Center (30-minute intervals) by calling 763-502-5150. $25 for a half hour session and $15 for a manicure, payable to Presbyterian Homes at the time of your appointment.
Health Insurance Counseling1st and 3rd Thursdays each month
If you are looking for information regarding Medicare, supplemental health insurance, Medical Assistance or other health insurance related topics, call 763-502-5150 to schedule a 1 hour appointment to meet with a health insurance counselor. Counselors are from the State Health Insurance Assistance Program of Anoka County and provide free information and answers to your questions. Appointments are available on the first and third Thursday of each month by calling 763-502-5150.
Walking ClubTuesdays 9:00 a.m.
Be part of a senior network of walking groups in the area including Spring Lake Park, Coon Rapids, Blaine and Columbia Heights. Group will begin in late spring. Call 763-502-5150 for start date and details.
Tuesdays 10:00 a.m.
This is a senior stretching class with emphasis on soft stretching, movement and flexibility. Appropriate for all fitness levels. The instructor will evaluate abilities at the first class and adapt to fit your needs. $4 fee paid to the instructor the day of class.
