Saturday, February 17, 2018 - The Wildlife Rehabilitation Center of Minnesota

Program begins at 5:30 pm

Tami Vogel, Communications Director at the Wildlife Rehabilitation Center of Minnesota (WRC), will present on the center’s work with more than 185 different species. WRC is one of the oldest and busiest wildlife hospitals in the nation, treating nearly 13,000 wild animals in 2017. In addition to the medical care they provide to wildlife, the center’s medical staff educates vet students from all over the world with the goal of creating a network of professional trained veterinarians who can treat injured wildlife.

Fee: $25 per person or $22.50 per person when purchasing multiples. 

Discovery Dinner Special Edition: Paint & Sup with Laurel Sundberg

Saturday, March 17, 2018 - 5:30-8:30 pm


Join artist and naturalist Laurel Sundberg for an evening of painting, socializing, food, and fun at Springbrook Nature Center. Learn from Laurel’s artistic expertise as she guides us through painting a songbird. We'll explore color in depth and use time-honored artist's methods to create a unique painting that is yours to keep at the end of the evening. Light dinner offerings will be available throughout the program. Please wear clothing you can get paint on, or bring an apron. Learn more about Laurel and her art at www.laurelsundberg.com
