Commons Park is located at 555 - 61st Avenue NE.  It is one of the larger parks in the city (23 acres), and is conveniently located in the center of the city between Highway 65 and University Avenue.  The park has tennis courts (with lights), sand volleyball courts, soccer fields, ball diamonds, playground equipment, picnic area and an enclosed shelter (available for rent).  In the winter, it is home to a very popular sliding hill as well as two hockey rinks and a warming house for everyone to warm up in.
