The City Engineering Division provides a variety of services relating to the construction and design of the City's capitol projects and subdivision development.

Engineering develops plans, sets specifications, and determines estimates for capital improvement and safety programs.  The Engineering Staff also is responsible for the design and construction of streets, sewers, storm water facilities, water lines and sidewalks.  Records are maintained by the Engineering Staff on various projects in the City, as-built files, and utility service locations.

The Geographic Information System (GIS) function is responsible for computer mapping and computer graphic systems.
