Ordinances
Every City ordinance must be presented in writing to the City Council and have two public readings. If the ordinance is passed by the City Council, it must be signed by the Mayor or by three other members of the City Council, attested by the City Clerk, published and recorded.  Ordinances will also be published on the City's web site.

The ordinance goes into effect fifteen days after the date of its publication in the City's official newspaper. Fridley's official newspaper is the Sun Focus News.  Its second official newspaper is the Star Tribune.
