Woodcarving

Mondays     9:00 a.m.
Learn this beautiful art form in an on-going class beginning September 8th at the Fridley Community Center. Class will meet once per week. Carving tools are available on a loan basis to get you started. A punch card is available for $10 for 5 classes. Supplies are not included in the fee.

Ceramics

Fridays     9:00 a.m.
Instruction in ceramics will be offered at the Fridley Community Center this fall. Registration fee is based on four classes at $15. Classes do not have to be used consecutively.

Defensive Driving Refresher Course

This cource is designed for those who have completed the 8-hour course.  A refresher course every three years replaces the old requirement of the 8-hour course every three years.  Cost includes class materials.  If you would like lunch provided for an additional charge please let us know.  Note: Please include your driver's license number when registering.  Fee is $24.

Legal Wise

This program meets quarterly to educate older adults on legal issues of concern.

Hardanger

Tuesdays     1:00 - 3:00 p.m.

Hardanger is a form of counted cutwork from Norway.  It is usually done on 22 count fabric with perle cotton thread.  This class teaches you basic surface embroider stitches, cutting, drawing threads, and filler stitches.  This is fine work, but not difficult.  Materials are available for purchase at class.
