Create lasting memories, have a birthday party at Springbrook! Birthday Parties (unless otherwise noted) are for children turning 4 - 11. Included in your fee are private rental space for two hours, a 45-minute naturalist program (topics listed in the table), and access to brand new exhibits and nature trails. (Ages 8-11) Imagine you're lost in the woods! Are you going to survive? Test your fire-making and survival shelter making skills during this simulated survival situation. Dress for the weather, this is an outdoor party, with much of the program happening in the woods and off the trail.
Ahoy mate! Tree Frog the Pirate has hidden some treasure right here at Springbrook Nature Center. Bring your band of explorers and be ready to solve the clues that will lead us to the treasure!
On the Wild Side
Finally, a birthday party on the WILD side. Learn about animal adaptations, see and touch some of our resident animals, and hike the trail to find some WILDLIFE of your own!
(Ages 4-8) Grab your trowel and fossil brush! Head out on a fossil hunt to find pieces of a dinosaur skeleton. Explore dinosaur eggs and meet a modern day dinosaur.
(April - October) Head out with nets to find wetland critters - backswimmers, nymphs and more! Bring your catch back to the building to view on the big screen.
Hiss! Snakes are cool! Who wouldn't want them to be a part of this rockin' birthday part? Learn all about snakes and get up close and personal with a few of our resident reptiles.
(Winter only) Ok Bigfoot, it's time to make some tracks in the snow! Let's learn about snowshoes, play snowshoe games, hike over hill and dale, and burn off some of that excess energy to explore the winter woods. NOTE: Must have 3 inches of snow pack to use snowshoes.
